Meet our Training Band conductor
Born of a South Wales banding family I broke the mould and trained as a classical concert guitarist. In my late twenties I returned to banding playing for many years with CWS (Manchester) on 1st horn during the 70’s and 80’s. Now retired from working in Manchester schools as an instrumental music teacher I returned once again to banding: this time to help form the local Brass Band in Todmorden (Yorkshire) where I now arrange, compose, teach and conduct the thriving training band.
Qualifications: ATCL, LTCL, Cert(Ed), BEd(Hons) retired J.P
